- 3 teaspoons of salt
- 1.5 teaspoons of turmeric powder
- 2.5 teaspoons of sugar
- 50 grams of mustard oil
- 500 g of shrimp (cleaned)
Step-by-step instructions for steamed prawns (vapa chingri) in mustard-coconut sauce
- First, grind the soaked mustard seeds, salt and green pepper, grind it with the side of the blender and add a little water if necessary.
- Mix it into a thin paste. it should feel very smooth when you rub it between your fingers.

- Cook in the microwave for about 10 minutes. Then check once in steam mode...if everything is fine, if not, restart the same mode for another 2/3 minutes. This is due to the fact that all microwave temperature parameters and other processes are slightly different from each other.
